This is the definitive music chart, which ranks records throughout history in order of total sales.
Released by the Official Charts Company to mark the 60th anniversary of the singles chart, it lists all the 123 songs that have sold more than a million copies since it began in 1952.
Band Aid are second, with 1984 charity fundraiser Do They Know It’s Christmas, which sold 3.69million copies, followed by Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody on 2.36million copies.
