'I Want To Break Free (Extended Mix)' Features on New 'Now' Collection

'I Want To Break' (Extended Mix), a rarity on CD, is to be released on a new 'NOW' compilation early next year. 

"NOW 12" 80s 1984 – Part One is a 4-CD set packed with 46 extended versions from one of the greatest ever years in the history of the singles charts. The collection expertly showcases the diversity of this classic year in pop with essential 12" mixes covering synth-pop, alt-pop, disco, hi-nrg, electro, and hip-hop ". 

Queen's track kicks the whole set off as track 1, CD1. The 7 minute 19second 12” version of 'I Want To Break Free' has not been available on CD since the mail-order Box Of Tricks set in 1992.

Freddie's 'Love Kills' also features: "CD2 celebrates electro, dance music, Hi-NRG and 80's disco, kicking off with Freddie Mercury's synth classic 'Love Kills (Extended Mix)' co-produced by electronic pioneer Giorgio Moroder."

NOW 12" 80s 1984 – Part One is released on 17th January 2025.
