Queen in 3D Book Launch / Press

Last night on Shaftsbury Avenue in London, Brian launched his new 'Queen in 3-D' book in front of media, friends, family and members of Team Queen.

The room had been decorated with photos of Brian and Queen, band merchandise from through the years, memorabilia, stage outfits, Queen in 3-D books and many other items from the Queen archive. Complimentary 'Queen Cocktails' made with Killer Queen vodka were being enjoyed as a mix of Queen's greatest hits and deeper album cuts pumped from the speakers.

Before Brian's presenation of the book commenced, he took a moment to address the room to reflect on the events in Manchester, what followed was an implecable minute's silence that rolled into a heartfelt round of applause.

Standing stage left, Brian then instructed the audience to put on their 3-D glasses and proceeded to relay some quite lovely anicdotes from the book, as he flicked through some of his favourite stereoscopic images from 'Queen in 3-D'.

Some of his stories were enlightening, some sad and some very funny, but what was revealed was a quite unique alternative Queen history from the inside. Clearly a labour of love, Brian hosted the evening wonderfully and held the crowd capitvated from the stage, I guess he has had some practice...

Queen in 3-D is released tomorrow and available to order now.
