- Please read the following information carefully to gain entry to the party -

Freddie Mercury Birthday Party
Date: Saturday, 7th September 2019
Venue: Casino Barrière Montreux, Rue du Théâtre 9, 1820 Montreux, Switzerland
Time: 7pm - 12.30am

e- Tickets: This is an e-ticket event, please print out your receipt and bring it with you to gain entry to the party. You will be given a wristband on presentation of your ticket / receipt - No physical tickets are sent out.

Your name and purchase number will be checked on the guest list and you will be provided with a wristband. The ticket desk will be located upstairs in the Party Room Foyer at the Casino Barrière.

Early Wristband Pick-Up: To ease congestion on the night of the party, we are offering an Early Wristband Pick Up upstairs in the Party Room Foyer at the Casino Barrière. We strongly recommend picking up your wrist bands early!

Saturday, 7th September 2019
2pm - 5pm - Early Wristband Pick Up (Party Room Foyer)

(from 6pm onwards - Normal Wristband Pick Up for 7pm Doors)

Party Schedule:
7pm - Doors Open and Welcome Drinks
8.30pm - Live Entertainment with Bulsara and His Queenies performing ‘The Miracle’ album in full, plus hits and deep cuts
10.30pm - Classic Rock Disco with DJ Alex Milas
12.30am - Party Ends

Inside The Party

The MPT Tombola 

Please note: This event is SOLD OUT. There will be no tickets available to buy on the door on the night.

The tombola prize table will be located in the main room from 7pm and stocked with all sorts of Queen prizes and other goodies. Tickets are priced at 2CH francs  / 2 Euros each.

The MPT Collectors Stall

The MPT Collectors Stall run by Collection Coordinators Maureen and Pete Barclay will be located in the main room and open from 7pm. There will be all manner of exclusive Queen and signed items for sale.

Drinks

There will be several bars in the main room serving a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.

Food

Food will be available throughout the evening and not served at one dedicated time as in previous events. This is in order to ease the service of the food and provide the option to all party goers on when they want to eat.

Seating

There will be seating around the edge of the room. Anybody requiring a seat should approach anyone of the MPT volunteers on the night and we will make sure you are taken care of.

Signed Miniature Red Special 

The winner of the Roger Taylor, Brian May and John Deacon signed miniature Red Special will be announced and presented with their prize on the night during the party. If you have bought a ticket, you are in the draw.

Pre-Party Activities

The Queen Studio Experience

 - Justin Shirley Smith - Queen’s head studio engineer will be located in the Mountain Studios room in the Queen Studio Experience between 2pm and 5pm. He will be available for questions and to oversee fans remixing tracks on the desk, including a track from 'The Miracle’ album which celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year and other hits.

  - Greg Brooks - Queen’s Official Archivist is curating a new 30th Anniversary display for ‘The Miracle’ in the Queen Studio Experience’. He will be available for questions and conversation with fans between 2pm and 5pm in the QSE main room. 

On The Lake

There are a number of activities taking place on the day of the party down by the lake and over the whole weekend that have been organised by The Montreux Celebration. Please check their website for more details @ www.montreuxcelebration.com. 

You do not have to be attending the main party at the casino to join in these festivities on the lakeside.
